Thermally modified wood

The wood used in the outdoor kitchen is thermally modified. By thermally modified wood we mean wood that has undergone a certain heat treatment. The wood is heated to about 200 degrees, without the addition of chemicals. This is often softwood, which is given a much longer life by this process. The expected lifespan is about 20 years. After that, it is also easy to replace again.
